Custodial Services seeks an enthusiastic self-starter to perform in the role of Custodian 1 providing custodial service in a wide variety of environments at our main campus in Guelph. Regular duties include: collecting and disposal of garbage, vacuuming, dusting and wet mopping floors and maintaining washroom facilities.  The incumbents could be required to work all custodial shifts, including weekends, afternoons and nights, as required and assigned.

Requirements of the position: Candidates must have a minimum Grade 10 education (Grade 12 preferred), good communication skills, and be committed to work both independently and as a member of a team. Candidates must be able to comfortably lift up to 25 pounds and be physically able to repeatedly conduct the diverse range of motions required for a wide variety of cleaning functions. Applicants from off campus will be expected to provide an acceptable criminal reference check at her/his own expense if selected as the successful candidate.
