As a Snow Shoveler, you will get to be part of a fantastic team in Physical Resources, belong to the wonderful Community that is the University of Guelph and also get to work on one of the most beautiful campuses in Ontario!
In your role as a Snow Shoveler, you will be responsible for providing professional and reliable snow removal services by manually clearing snow on assigned routes, spreading ice-melter as needed, and performing other duties as assigned, including work preparatory to the active snow season.
Candidates must be physically fit and reliable. The typical workday begins at 6:00 a.m., however, during significant snow events, shovelers may be called in as early as 2:30 a.m. No guarantee of hours, actual availability of work will be contingent on the weather conditions.
Rate: $16.00 per hour
