On behalf of the seminar committee, we wish to congratulate Wendy Van Drunen as the recipient of the 2017-2018 IB Distinguished Graduate Student Speaker Award. We had five highly competitive applicants in total, all of who would have given great talks and were worthy.
Please note that the date of Wendy's seminar is Tuesday, April 17th and will take place at 3:30 pm in SSC 2315.
Wendy is a PhD candidate working on issues of plant evolutionary biology in the lab of Brian Husband.
