I am interested in studying human-black bear conflict in Ontario. Specifically, I am interested in spatial and temporal trends associated with annual levels of reported conflict, and the main factors that influence and drive this conflict. I am interested in how climate change may affect abundance of natural bear foods and how changes in natural food abundance may affect levels of reported human-black bear conflict in the future.
