Guelph’s Department of Management believes that business success today depends on a strategic outlook, an entrepreneurial attitude, a global perspective and a commitment to social and environmental responsibility.

We help emerging and established leaders achieve that kind of success through groundbreaking and engaging teaching and research.

Our academic community focuses on how organizations work, including the complex interplay between leadership, financial and human systems and the broader social and political context. 

We prepare graduates for leadership roles in which organizational objectives, self-awareness, social responsibility and sustainability are primary considerations. In this way, we contribute to thriving, effective enterprises that sustain individuals, communities and the world in which we live.

Undergraduate and Graduate Programs

The Department of Management offers the following programs:

• Bachelor of Commerce in Management 
• Master of Science in Management
• Graduate Diploma in Accounting
• Undergraduate Leadership Certificate 

Along with the preceding programs, our faculty members contribute to MBA and PhD in Management programs at the University of Guelph. 

Professional Designations

We offer all required courses for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) certification exams.
