The GSA is the central student group representing all graduate students at the University of Guelph. Their mission is to advance the academic and social goals of graduate students through advocacy, social, and financial resources.

Aurora is an e-learning platform providing career advice to Graduate Students and postdocs. Students can complete two programs of study, Career Exploration and Career Strategies to explore career options and learn job search strategies to secure employment outside academia. Over 70 hours of on-demand videos and 120 interviews with PhDs are available on this site, with content being updated monthly.

The University of Guelph requires all graduate students entering semester one to enroll in UNIV*7100, an online, mandatory, non-credit course. Students must successfully complete this course as part of their degree requirements.Access to the course is provided at the beginning of September.

The Writing Services team supports University of Guelph students of all levels in becoming stronger, more confident writers. It also helps teaching assistants integrate writing-intenstive elements into their courses.
