The UoG Entrepreneurship Society is extremely excited to welcome Damien Steel, Managing Director of OMERS Ventures to our campus! During this 1 hour speaking event Damien will take us through his inspiring entrepreneurial journey, and answer both pre-selected and audience questions!

About Damien:
In his role as Managing Director at OMERS Ventures, Damien Steel is responsible for leading investments in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors. Damien has close to 10 years venture investing experience having spent time previously with both BridgeScale Partners and EdgeStone Capital Partners. Prior to joining OMERS Ventures, Damien was CEO and co-founder of Novo Dental Studios (sold to one of North America's largest dental labs), a leading digital dental laboratory that leveraged technology to service the dental market.
Damien has spent the majority of his career working with growth companies on all aspects of their business including finance, acquisitions, and overall growth strategies.
Damien previously served on the board of PasswordBox (sold to Intel) and currently serves on the boards of Busbud, Fusebill, Klipfolio, LeadSift and Wave.
Damien has an H.B.B.A from Wilfrid Laurier University, is a CA and a CFA charter holder.
