The Visiting Speaker Series is an opportunity for invited researchers and professionals, external to the University of Guelph, to present their research topic(s) to faculty and students. On September 16, the Department of Economics and Finance will welcome David Ong from Peking University who will be speaking on the topic of "Hard To Get: The Scarcity of Women and the Competition for High-Income Men in Chinese Cities". Anyone from the University of Guelph is welcome to attend.
