To celebrate Canada’s sesquicentennial and Guelph’s 190th anniversary, Guelph Museums launches a unique lecture series to reflect on our collective history and the theme of nation building. Building Canada Lectures, presented in partnership with the University of Guelph, is set for the second Wednesday of each month at 7 PM at Guelph Civic Museum.
On February, the Building Canada Lectures will feature professor Anita Stewart, University of Guelph's Food Laureate. The title of Anita's talk is "Canada IS food! From grease trails to a Mars mission – the building of a culinary nation."
Admission is by donation.
