The HeForShe event would not be possible without the generous support from the Angel Gabriel Foundation. In 2019, it was announced that the HeForShe at U of G celebration will continue for the next ten years, with the support of a 10-year commitment by the Angel Gabriel Foundation.

Let's Stand for Gender Equality: Adrienne Clarkson
On Wednesday, March 10th, 2021 the fourth annual HeForShe at U of G event featured keynote speaker Hon. Adrienne Clarkson, Canada’s 26th Governor General. Madame Clarkson discussed her story of resilience through her various life experiences, education and career to demonstrate that resilience is about developing the mental, spiritual and emotional muscles to deal with all that life throws at you.
Desire, Fear, and Success: Jennifer Smith
On Wednesday, March 11th, 2020 the third annual HeForShe at U of G event featured keynote speaker Jennifer Smith, Senior Vice President of Technology and Operations at Cineplex Digital Media. Jennifer is a change agent, profit and market share driver, and a builder of high-performance teams in high-growth, rapidly changing environments. In her current role at Cineplex Digital Media, she is responsible for strategy and operational execution of the technology, product, data, and customer success teams. Jennifer is passionate about STEM fields and advocating STEM career choices among young women. As the keynote, Jennifer shared her experiences as a woman in tech and business, and how the themes of Desire, Fear, and Success have evolved throughout her career..
Navigating life, loss and the road to success: Lisa Lisson
On Tuesday, March 6th, 2019 the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics teamed up with Gryphon Football and the College of Engineering and Physical Science to host an afternoon dedicated to the HeForShe campaign. As part of the event, one of Canada's most influential female business leaders, FedEx Canada president and best-selling author Lisa Lisson, joined students on campus and led a public talk about resiliency and finding strength in the hardest of times.

On Tuesday, March 13th, 2018 the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics teamed up with Gryphon Football to host the inaugural HeForShe at U of G event, an afternoon dedicated to the HeForShe campaign.
