Sebastian is the Executive Director of Cobscook, an organization that creates responsive educational opportunities that strengthen personal, community, and global well-being. The organization consists of three mutually supporting divisions with a common purpose. Together, these three divisions position Cobscook Institute to redefine rural education and create responsive educational opportunities that strengthen personal, community, and global well-being.

He is the former Managing Director of the international NGO, Solidaridad, creating sustainable supply chains that support fair and sustainable trade to reduce poverty, build communities and protect the environment.

Sebastian graduated from the University of Guelph with a BA in economics and mathematics, receiving the J.K. Galbraith scholarship in Economics. He is currently an adjunct professor within Lang’s School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management and headed the Clausen Center for International Business and Policy at the University of California, Berkely, and taught international courses at the Haas School of Business.
