Our Food Laureate, Anita Stewart, along with countless farmers, fishers, chefs, researchers and home cooks from across the country are preparing to celebrate Food Day Canada. Launched by Stewart as the World's Longest Barbeque in 2003 to support farmers in the aftermath of the mad cow crisis, Food Day Canada features a wide range of events focused on local food.
