Some of Canada’s most successful professionals are coming to the University of Guelph to inspire students on Thursday, February 9th, 2012 in Rozanski Hall from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for GuelphU-INSPIRE. Guest speakers for GuelphU-INSPIRE include Alex Rechichi (President & Co-founder of Extreme Brands) and Rita DeMontis (award-winning Lifestyle & Food writer and editor).
“This event is an opportunity for those who have achieved their dreams to share the journey to students across Ontario and inspire them,” said Hussein Yassin, student leader coordinator and 2nd year University of Guelph student.
This free event is open to all University of Guelph students who have registered online by sending their RSVP to inspireguelphu2012@gmail.com [1]. Space is limited and dinner is provided. The event format will include a talk by the guest speakers followed by an open Q&A period by registered attendees.
“Our committee and student leaders decided to continue our work from the INSPIRE event in June 2011. The goal is to roll out the program on three university campuses spreading our message of the importance of building leadership skills. What better partner and environment for this than Canada's universities?” said Luciano Volpe, founder and chair, INSPIRE.
