Ten University of Guelph students with aspirations to start their own businesses presented their plans last Thursday as part of their Applied Project in Entrepreneurship course. The students come from across the University of Guelph campus but share one thing in common – a clear passion for their entrepreneurial ideas. These ideas cover a broad range of areas from newborn photography to car detailing and from barn sitting to healthier chocolate milk. Social entrepreneurship was also on display with ideas for a charitable organization to bring indoor lighting for the poor in South America and to produce a documentary about family farming.
