With the federal election soon entering its final month, voters will be looking to leader debates and subsequent media coverage to evaluate candidates. Economics professor Eveline Adomait, along with two other economists, will be part of that coverage and will form an expert panel to grade the leaders' performance following the Globe and Mail's upcoming debate on the economy on September 17.

In addition to providing post-debate comments, the panel, which also includes Christopher Ragan, economics professor at McGill University and Jack Mintz, president's fellow at the University of Calgary School of Public Policy, will engage in weekly email conversations with the Globe and Mail on economic issues raised during the final month of the campaign.

Eveline Adomait is an economics professor and faculty advisor at the University of Guelph, a former TEDx speaker and author of Cocktail Party Economics and Dinner Party Economics. Follow her on Twitter @EvelineAdomait [2].

Christopher Ragan, is an economics professor at McGill University and writes regularly for Report on Business when he's not authoring textbooks and teaching economics.

Jack Mintz is president’s fellow at the University of Calgary’s School of Public Policy. Among many other qualifications, he’s contributed to the Globe and Mail, the Financial Post and a number of other publications.
