The HAFA HFTM Alumni Association is inviting all students from University of Guelph Majors to register for our Virtual Career Night on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Alumni from the hospitality and tourism sector will be hosting students in discussion groups covering their area of specialization. In the past these topics included Restaurant Management, Hotels, Event Planning, Sport Management, Human Resources, Accounting, Destination Management, Consulting and Real Estate Investment to name a few.

Many graduates from the HAFA HFTM programs have worked in a diverse array of roles throughout their career from restaurant management to human resources to consulting, etc. As the industry has evolved and become more complex, the available career options have broadened. The Alumni Association is looking to promote this event with a wide range of students to give them the opportunity to learn what our industry has to offer for their future career choices.

The HAFA HFTM Alumni Association is a volunteer Board made up of graduates from the University of Guelph, School of Hospitality, Food & Tourism of the Gordon S. Lang School of Business & Economics. Our objective is to connect alumni to each other, to students and to the university. We do this through annual events (such as the Fall Social and the Career Networking Night), through our annual Alumni Awards (by updating our social media platforms; Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn) and through our sponsorship of student scholarships within the major.

About the Business Career Development Centre
The Business Career Development Centre (BCDC) offers tailored career support to business students at the University of Guelph.
