Sergio: My typical day was waking up, going to class, writing an exam, having lunch hopping in a car driving two hours to Barrie and either attending events or door knocking and campaigning for 3-4 hours in the afternoon and then getting back to Guelph because that's where I had to write an exam the next day.

Guelph offered this great real estate and housing program, which really when you look at the courses it has all the fundamentals for anybody who wants to go right into real estate but also who kind of wants to touch a bit on the policy development from the municipal side.

Sergio: So one of the big things that you know I
learned through my education at Guelph, is you need to be able to have
infrastructure to support any growth. So it's very easy, and it's been done before, where you put in the growth first and then you play catch-up with the road. It doesn't work that way the people that live there are going to need to use that infrastructure. The role that I bring to Ward 9 is saying when we add growth, infrastructure goes in at the same time.
