Supporting Flexible Instructional Skills Development: A Collaborative Teaching and Learning Series

We recognize the last several months have been particularly stressful as we navigate these unprecedented times. From a teaching and learning perspective, the work that instructors have been doing to ensure effective learning is still happening is highly impressive, and incredibly valuable.
To support all instructors with their personal ongoing teaching and learning development, the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics (LANG) Learning and Teaching Advisory Board, in collaboration with the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences (CSAHS) Hub for Teaching and Learning Excellence (“The Hub”), are hosting a summer series of teaching and learning professional development workshops.
To provide support and resources to instructors to help them in deciding what approaches are best for their individual courses, we have developed a webinar series that is pedagogically-focused, evidence-informed, and based on best practices.
These webinars will feature tangible approaches that instructors can choose to apply in their individual contexts, as well as useful resources and tools for course design and planning from experts across campus.
While there is an emphasis on instructional skills, these webinars are being developed in a way that is meaningful regardless of the course delivery model, and enable instructors to have the best resources at their fingertips.
