Concluded Negotiations

Aug 5, 2025 - UGFA 2

The agreement between UGFA 2, the union representing College Research Professors, College Professors and College Lecturers, and the University, was ratified on July 31, 2025.

May 30, 2025 - USW 4120

The collective agreement for USW 4120, the union representing administrative and technical staff at the University of Guelph, was ratified by both parties on May 30, 2025.

May 9, 2025 - CUPE 1334

The collective agreement for CUPE 1334, the union representing trades, maintenance and service workers on the main Campus, was ratified by both parties on May 8, 2025.

March 3, 2025 - OPSEU

The collective agreement for OPSEU, the union representing special constables employed by the University of Guelph, was ratified by both parties on March 3, 2025.

November 27, 2024 - OSSTF/TARA

The collective agreement for OSSTF/TARA was ratified by both parties on November 27, 2024.

October 29, 2024 - UGFA

The collective agreement for the University of Guelph Faculty Association (UGFA) was ratified by both parties on Oct. 29, 2024. See full negotiations updates with UGFA.

October 16, 2024 - Unifor Local 2003E

The collective agreement for Unifor Local 2003E, the Union representing the University's 10 Operating Engineers and those engaged as their helpers in the Central Utilities Plant, was ratified on October 16, 2024.

July 8, 2024 – UGFSEA Units 1 and 2 

Members of the University of Guelph Food Service Employees Association (UGFSEA) Units 1 and 2 have ratified the renewal collective agreements that were tentatively agreed to on June 18, 2024, and June 20, 2024, respectively.
