The Gluten Project- Cereal Outreach Box

A cereal outreach box has been developed by the Department of Food Science that contains hands-on experiments to experience the functionality of the three components in cereal processing. The experiments in the box are similar to the activities that are presented in the on-campus workshop. The box includes the materials and a leaflet with the explanation of the experiments and the experimental outcomes. There is a teacher and student version of the leaflet to provide each with the information needed to use the box as a stand-alone educational tool. The Cereal Outreach Box will become available in January 2020.
