So things like nutrient cycling or greenhouse gas emissions or contaminant remediation. 0:25 - 1:00 [Screen flashes to zoomed out video of Prof. Kari Dunfield speaking in a hallway] Kari: I think one of my favorite things about being a graduate student advisor is seeing how the students grow and change over time. And so it's great to see that when they first start in my lab group they come in and they, you know, they knock on my door and they're asking lots of questions and asking about how to do methodology and what they should be doing in the lab. And as the time goes on and they're, you know, finishing their PhDs, they basically come to my office to chat about their lives and chat about the research and, you know, talk about different things that are important to them, so. It's really neat to see the transition from [Music fades in] coming in as a, kind of a new student, and going out as a colleague. 1:01 - 1:06 [Screen fades in to show OAC logo on a white background, red website link] Text: www.uoguelph.ca/oac [Screen fades to black]
