Trevor: Our research is focused on understanding the

behaviour of dairy cows and specifically one of our primary interests is actually looking at the feeding behaviour of dairy cows,

with the goal of understanding how cows eat, when cows eat and what they actually consume.

Trevor: And why that's really important is that we know that producers put a lot of time and effort into making good feed for their animals,
putting together very good rations but, at the end of the day, it's really the cow that consumes that ration and how she consumes it
and what she consumes is going to have a significant impact on not only her productivity and optimizing her productivity, but also her health and welfare.

Trevor: And so what we're really focused on is looking at factors that influence that behaviour and then the management factors
that are going to influence the expression of that behaviour so we can make very applied recommendations to producers to
