Barry Micallef: 00:03 A lot of my research revolves around the biological clock in plants and how that influences processes in the plant, and I'm quite interested in some of the practical applications of those lines of research. I started this position in 2000. Since 2000, greenhouse vegetable production has increased about three to four time in Ontario in terms of area. If you do the math, it's now worth about a $900 million industry. So, it's gone up from about a $200 million industry when I started. If you want to quantify, greenhouse tomatoes are the third biggest crop in Ontario after corn and soybeans in terms of their value, because we're talking about a very high value crop. And in this case, most of that crop ends up being exported to the United States, so it has really helped with the trade deficit we have with produce in Canada significantly.
