Tim A. Mau (D.Phil., Oxford University) is Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Guelph.

In addition to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses on public management and administration and leadership, he has provided leadership training and development for senior public sector officials in Canada (for the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation) and across Asia (for the Asian Productivity Organization).

His current research interests are primarily in the area of political and public sector (administrative) leadership. He has published articles and book chapters on a wide range of topics, including the use of public sector leadership competencies, the Canadian model of public sector leadership, leadership in the Canadian military, scandal and corruption, French-English relations in business interest associations, and nationalist mobilization in Quebec and Scotland.

Dr. Mau is the co-author (with Paul Barker) of Public Administration in Canada: Brief Edition. 2nd Edition. (Toronto: Thomson Nelson, 2017) and co-editor of two books, including (with Neelam Trivedi, Dhirendra Vajpeyi and S.P. Dwivedi) Perspectives on Governance and Society (Jaipur: Rawat Publications, 2013) and (with O.P.
