Former U of G student Mikkel Aagaard<\/strong> was a \u201cpractice player\u201d for the Danish men\u2019s hockey team. Dustin McCrank<\/strong>, BA \u201911, officiated as a linesman for the men\u2019s Olympic hockey tournament. For the Tokyo Summer Games, sailor Sarah Douglas<\/strong> finished sixth in her Olympic debut for the best women\u2019s individual performance in the sport\u2019s history in Canada. Cross-country runner Andrea Seccafien, BA \u201913, competed in the women\u2019s 5,000- and 10,000-metre runs, and Genevieve Lalonde<\/strong>, B.Sc. \u201914, MA \u201917, beat the Canadian 3,000-metre steeplechase record twice. Canada\u2019s eight-person artistic swimming team included U of G psychology student Emily Armstrong<\/strong>.
