Community Input

As it develops a position profile for the University’s next President, the Presidential Selection Committee is seeking input from the University community. All community members are invited to share their perspectives on the opportunities and challenges the University will face during the next five years, and what kind of leader is needed to navigate this future.

Members of the University community may share their perspectives through an online survey and during upcoming presidential search forums.

Responses are anonymous and will be used to help develop the position profile for the University’s next president. The survey can only be taken once and closes November 15 at 12:00 p.m.

Presidential Search Forums

Members of the Presidential Selection Committee and search consultants from Odgers Berndtson will be available to engage with the University community directly during the following forums:

  • Student Focused Session:
    Wed. Nov. 13 | 5 - 6:00 p.m. | McLaughlin Library Room 246B
  • Faculty & Staff Focused Session:
    Thurs. Nov. 14 | noon to 1:00 p.m. | McLaughlin Library Room 246B
  • Ridgetown Session:
    Wed. Nov. 13 | noon to 1:00 p.m. | RDC Room 125, Pioneer Lecture Theatre
  • Guelph-Humber Session:
    Wed. Nov. 20 | 11:00 a.m. - noon | GH125

The student and staff/faculty sessions on the main campus are intended to help facilitate discussion around common themes. Members of the University community are welcome to attend either forum.
