Odgers Berndtson has been retained by the University to assist the Presidential Selection Committee in the search process. The role of the search firm is advisory and administrative in nature. The firm provides professional advice, especially as it relates to developing the position profile, recruitment strategy, and interview process. The firm also supports the Committee by organizing and screening applications, conducting reference checks and conducting other administrative work such as placing advertisements.

Colleen Keenan, Co-Head, Academic Practice
Colleen is Partner and Co-Head of the firm’s Academic Practice, based in the Toronto office. With more than 20 years of executive search experience, she has led many successful senior level searches for universities, colleges, and independent schools across Canada.
Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, Colleen served as Vice-President of Public Affairs for Falconbridge Ltd. and as Vice-President of Communications and Public Affairs for the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. She has worked as a lobbyist, representing both corporate and non-profit clients, and as a communications assistant to a Member of Parliament.
