With over 15 years of teaching experience, she has taught and mentored students at all stages of their training, instructing at L'École nationale supérieure des arts visuels de La Cambre in Belgium, SOFAM, OCAD University, Univeristy of Toronto, Scarborough and Red Deer College. She has received many prestigious grants to support her work as an artist focused on painting, historical decorative painting techniques, and craft, challenging the boundaries of painting through undermining historical painterly gestures.
