Why Animal Biology?
Explore what animals need from an individual to community level. Learn how nutrition, genetics and welfare can improve animals’ lives, the food supply chain and our environment. You’ll learn all of this from distinguished animal physiologists, nutritionists, geneticists, and behavioural science specialists. If you’re interested in animals, University of Guelph is the top place to learn about them in Canada.
Students in the ABIO program may also be interested in studying Animal Science, Marine and Freshwater Biology, Wildlife Biology and Conservation, Zoology, Equine Management, or other majors.
