Why Environmental Biology?
Environmental Biology (ENVB) within the B.Sc. degree program focuses on how organisms, such as plants, insects, fungi and bacteria interact with the physical environment, including water and soils, as well the impact and response to human activity. This is a highly flexible program that allows you to design your own focus tailored to your specific areas of interest.
Students in the Environmental Biology ENVB major at the University of Guelph might also be interested in studying Biodiversity, Marine and Freshwater Biology, Plant Science, Wildlife Biology and Conservation, Ecology, Environmental Sciences, or other majors.
