Allowable Expenses

Project SOY Plus will reimburse participants for costs that pertain to enhancing the science of their projects. To qualify for reimbursement, you must submit a proposed project budget by the November registration deadline, hand in your completed project by the March deadline, and provide original receipts for all purchases by the final judging day.

A budget of $300 is available to the first 25 proposals submitted. Additional funding may be available to groups for further analysis or testing. These requests are evaluated on a case by case basis.

All receipts for reimbursement must be originals and must be accompanied by an invoice, such as the sample below, which shows the amount due to each person. Expenses will be reimbursed by the University to one group member only.

Participants must submit their permanent address and phone number or email address with their receipts in order to receive a payment.

Please note that reimbursement of expenses is for materials that directly relate to enhancing the science of the project.
