University of Guelph Retirees Association

Planning on Retiring from the University?

Consider joining the University of Guelph Retirees Association (UGRA).  The UGRA represents both retired faculty and staff from all UoG employee groups, a community of over 2,200. The Association activities include a wide range of issues important to retirees. One of the primary objectives of the UGRA is to keep retirees informed about pensions and benefits, and to alert members if there are any changes that may affect them. The UGRA also passes on advice to retirees that comes from the College and University Retiree Associations of Canada (CURAC), and similar organisations that may be of interest/benefit to members. Finally, the UGRA works with the University to enhance the privileges that retirees are entitled to as former employees.
