Keep in mind that many of these deadlines require advance preparation to get approval from all committee members. For example, you should start planning your Advisory Committee Form and Graduate Degree Program Form at least a month before the deadline, your thesis proposal at least a semester before the deadline, your application to continue to the PhD about two months before the deadline, and your Masters’ thesis two semesters before the defence deadline.
