The course is designed to help new students optimize their university learning experience. The development of the individual student in the university learning environment will be examined under four headings: the history and role of universities; human development models related to academic and personal growth; methods used in scholarly and scientific disciplines and; ethical issues related to the university. |
Prerequisites: registration in semester 1 or 2. |
