Student Organization Fees

Applicable to students registered in 2.00 credits or more. These fees, determined by programs, are collected as a service to the student government to support student organizations. Of each fee, $12.89 is for the University of Guelph Central Student Association, $3.55 is for the Canadian Federation of Students, $2.94 is for the Ontario Federation of Students, $4.88 is an entertainment media fee, $5.36 is for G-OPIRG, $5.83 is for Radio Gryphon, $2.37 is for the Ontarion, $1.62 is for Women's Resource Centre, $1.28 is for Volunteer Connections, $1.24 is for Peak Newspaper, $1.88 is for the Magic Bus, $0.78 is for W.U.S.C., $47.62 is for the Student Bus Pass, $0.42 is for the OUTLine, $0.64 is for First Aid Response, $0.21 is for Guelph Queer Equality, $0.50 is for OCUS, $0.50 is for Carousel, $1.02 for Guelph Books/The Cannon, $3.06 is for the Guelph Assistance Program, $0.87 is for Affordable Housing, $0.25 is for Anishnabeg Student Association and $1.00 is for the Bull Ring.

In addition, the Dental Plan annual premium of $110.06 and the Medical Insurance Premium of $105.00 provide coverage for the duration of the semester, whether or not the student withdraws from the University. Married students wishing to have their spouse and/or children insured and students who marry during the semester must apply within 30 days of registration or marriage respectively.
