This 12 week program provides students with the knowledge and practical training to confidently provide the daily care of horses at show facilities, riding schools and equestrian training centres. Students develop basic horse-handling skills; learn to check the general health of a horse, treat minor injuries, maintain and repair facilities and apply safe and ethical practices with respect to overall horse health and welfare.
