A grade of 70% in the mathematics courses of semesters 1 and 2 is normally required for admission to semester 3 of this program. Otherwise a student is advised to select electives from a subject or subjects to which they wishes to apply statistics.

Minor

At least 6 Statistics courses must be included among the 10 courses in Mathematics and Statistics. The required courses are 63-120, 63-121, 63-215 or 63-216, 89-204, 89-210, 89-205, 89-310, 89-311. The other recommended courses are 89-321, 89-332, 89-324, 89-435. (Students are strongly urged to take mathematics courses as electives such as 63-213, 63-220.)
