Lists of courses with substantial Canadian content are set out in the 4 areas emphasis below. Courses identified by asterisks are either departmental prerequisites for subsequent courses (*) or have been identified by departments as relevant to the interdisciplinary approach of the program(**). In addition, students are strongly urged, though not required, to have or develop a reading knowledge of the French language, preferably to the OAC level. Courses 44-206, 44-210, 44-320, 44-321, and 44-325, all given in French, are particularly designed to further a knowledge of French Canada and are strongly recommended for students in Canadian Studies.
