Study of the nature of rural development, the problems facing rural communities, and alternative solutions. Emphasis is placed on identifying problems, studying background materials such as public decision-making, property rights, taxation, zoning, etc., and developing communities through industrialization, recreation, agricultural business and the creation of new employment centres. (Last offering F97.) |
Prerequisites: 4 semesters of university study with a broad background in agricultural and social sciences. |
