19-258 Introductory Biochemistry S,F,W(3-3) +

The chemical structure and biological roles of proteins, nucleic acids, and some important lipids and carbohydrates; intermediary metabolism, with emphasis on catabolic processes and bioenergetics.

Prerequisites: 19-105 or 19-179 or 19-230.
