Course Description

21-317 Practicum--Child Studies I F,W(3-8)

Seminar and supervised experience with children. The practicum will be designed to demonstrate the application of theory studied earlier in the program. It will also provide opportunities for working directly with young people while examining such topics as the role of the teacher, teacher-child interaction, and program implementation. Students wishing to enroll in this course must consult with the Professor-in-Charge of the department's Laboratory Schools during course selection.

Prerequisites: 21-227, 39-201, 71-101.
