A study of theatre history and historiography, focusing on the relationships between the plays written in selected historical periods and the theatrical and cultural conditions that shaped them. The course will explore various approaches and methods of historical interpretation. This is a two-semester course. When you select it you will be registered in 35-3021 in the Fall and 35-3022 in the Winter semester. A grade will not be assigned to 35-3021 until 35-3022 has been completed. |
