Elizabeth M. (Betty) Upton Memorial Travel Grant

Established in memory of Elizabeth M. Upton, a faculty member in the School of Hotel and Food Administration, who played a key role in the development of the School and was instrumental in the development of the Institutional Foodservice Management (I.F.M.) major. Apply by letter, by October 1, describing the travel, the expected benefit and including a budget and the HAFA Financial Data Form.

Qualifications: Student who demonstrates financial need for travel to a relevant professional conference or to a University of Guelph academic program outside Canada. Students must have completed two or more semesters in the HAFA graduate or undergraduate program and must be in good academic standing. The project or conference must be acceptable to the Director of the School of Hotel and Food Administration to whom applications should be made.

Amount: Travel grant.
