Award Description

Kip Hunter Prize

For the best essay, written by an undergraduate in philosophy. The essay may be either a required assignment for a course (in which case either the student or the instructor may submit it) or it may be specially prepared for the competition. Submission of essays is to the Chair, Department of Philosophy, by the end of the 12th week of the Winter semester.

Qualifications: Any undergraduate who has registered for a philosophy course during the academic year in which the prize is awarded.

Semester: All semesters
