Award Description

MAC-FACS Mature Student Bursary

Applications must be submitted to the Associate Registrar, Student Financial Services, by September 15 for the Fall semester; by January 15 for the Winter semester; and by May 15 for the Spring semester.

Qualifications: Student who demonstrates financial need and who qualifies for mature student status. The student must be admitted to the B.A.Sc. program, or, already holding a degree, must be admitted as an unclassified student to take a program of courses in the area of Family and Consumer Studies. Applicants must be registered for a minimum of 2 courses per semester. No individual may receive the bursary more than three times. The qualifications for this scholarship are currently under review.

Semester: All semesters

Amount: A bursary of $200 will be awarded three times per year (once in each semester)
