39-430 Observational Methods W(3-0) [0.50]

An examination of direct observation as a strategy for collecting information on behaviour in research and applied settings. Students will obtain training in the theory and skills of observing, recording, interpreting data and communicating findings in written reports. Examples from the study of children's social development will be emphasized.

Prerequisites: (39-226 or 39-227 or 80-245), (39-307 or 80-236 ).
