Course Description

53-490 Horticultural Science Research I S,F,W(1-5) [0.50]

The student, in consultation with a faculty member, will select and define a research problem. Supervisory arrangements should be made at least 1 semester prior to commencing the course. The course will include preparation of a detailed literature review, project proposal and progress report. This course will normally be followed by 53-491 to provide 2 semesters for completion of the project.

Prerequisites: completion of semester 6 in the B.Sc. or B.Sc.(Agr.) program.
