83-400 Molecular and Cellular Aspects of Plant-Microbe Interactions F(3-0) [0.50]

Examination of molecular and cellular aspects of the interaction between plants and microorganisms such as mycorrhizae, pathogenic fungi, Agrobacterium and plant viruses. Topics include microbial virulence, signalling, gene expression, and disease resistance in plants. Departments of Botany and Environmental biology.

Prerequisites: 17-115, 65-100. 40-200 and 40-202 are recommended.
