The study of epithelial, connective, muscular, and nervous tissues precedes examination of the comparative histology of the circulatory, nervous, digestive, integumentary, respiratory, excretory, reproductive, endocrine, and sensory systems of vertebrates. Students also learn the practical aspects of microtechnique.
