This course will allow the student to design, execute and communicate a research project involving aquatic organisms. This will involve an examination of the primary scientific literature, the formulation of hypotheses, the design of experiments, the development of analytical skills and familiarity with the operation of analytical equipment and data analysis. Faculty guidance will be provided (need instructor's permission). This course is open only to students in the Marine and Freshwater Biology program, semester 8. |
